Weaver s History and It s Significance:This rug is weaved by one of the most famous Tabriz weavers; Master Pour-Naami which only has a few authentic Tabriz rugs that were originally master weaved and hand-crafted by himself.
The extraordinary thing about this rug besides the intricate design and the detailed weave; is the inner border (before the actual red border starts). Each green box around the border includes multiple verses all weaved in silk from Hafez who was a Persian mystic and poet. He was born sometime between the years 1310 and 1337 in Shiraz, Medieval Persia (Iran). Hafez is also referred to as the greatest poet of the world in many books and articles. His lyrical poems, known as ghazals, are noted for their beauty and bring to fruition the love, mysticism, and early Sufi themes that had long pervaded Persian poetry. It is extremely difficult to weave poetry in that font of writing into a rug and have it turn out this perfect and that is where a master s art is revealed through it s work of perfection and unique beauty. This rug took between 5-6 years to weave with Master Pour-Naami s dedication and hard work which finally created this masterpiece. You can honestly spend hours simply looking at the details around this rug and you ll only enjoy it more and more as you live with it.

Area Rug Dealer leaving business and liquidating inventory below wholesale cost. Almost 1000 Rugs from top names in the industry such as Home Dynamix, Momeni, Kaleen, United Weavers, Merinos, etc. Most of the inventory is High Quality Machine Made Polypropelene rugs although there are some hand tufted wool rugs also in the lot. Most everything is either still wrapped new in plastic or in new condition. Would prefer one buyer take all but would consider selling in quantities of 100+ . Price will be dependent upon quantity of rugs purchased but I am fully intent on selling the inventory below wholesale cost.
